Editing Text

Project Kaiser provides powerful text editor with rich formatting tools available.

"Editor" mode

This mode used for editing file desccriptions, documents content, forum topics, comments etc. The functionality is similar to widely used rich editors - it allows applying font and paragraph attributes, inserting images, links, lists and tables.

On the following picture you can see text editor screenshot:

Additionally to commonly used hotkeys like Ctrl+B, Ctrl+U, the following hotkeys allowed while editing text:

"Code" mode

This mode allows working with document by using special wiki-syntax which describes document structure in low-level terms.

"Preview" mode

This mode is used to preview the document without saving it into database. After preview you can switch back to code/editor mode and continue editing if you want, or press "Ok" and save the document.
